The Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) is an independent charity, professional body and Centre of Excellence, established to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities for babies, children, families and communities through a strengthened health visiting service.
We do this in a wide variety of ways, including education and training, research, publications, digital resources and toolkits, professional development, and innovative projects to address key public health challenges. Our work helps support health visiting teams across the UK to provide the best possible care to the thousands of families that they support every week.
We have created a range of opportunities to enable you to engage with this important audience through our face-to-face and hybrid conferences. You will have the chance to raise your organisation’s profile, increase brand awareness, and network at our events. Exhibitor and sponsor packages can be tailored to your needs and include promotional opportunities through branding, distribution of your resources, exhibitor stands, and sponsored sessions with Q&A.

Our Evidence-based Practice Conference provides a platform for local, national, and international experts and speakers to come together and share excellence in health visiting practice. They champion innovation and provide a platform for the latest research addressing health inequalities, equipping health visitors with new knowledge and skills to address key challenges in prevention and early intervention work.
This conference provides an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to engage directly with health visitors, health visiting team members, leaders and commissioners. Exhibitors can promote their organisation and products to our conference delegates and support their public health work with babies, children and families.
Our Evidence-based Practice conference is a one-day hybrid event, typically taking place in May, with opportunities to engage with both in-person and online audiences.
The vibrant iHV Annual Leadership conference has become the highlight of the year for many – bringing together health visitors, health visiting leaders, policymakers, academics and partners from all four nations of the UK, all united in a shared vision to drive meaningful change for babies, children, families and communities through excellence in health visiting.
With high-profile national and international speakers, this conference attracts delegates from across the public health and early years sector. It is aimed at health visiting leaders, aspiring leaders, commissioners, service providers and policy makers.
Our Leadership conferences always receive excellent feedback from delegates who report that they leave feeling re-energised and reconnected following a packed agenda of inspirational speakers. Many of our delegates also take the opportunity to meet up with colleagues from across the UK and enjoy the ambience and other
attractions of London at Christmas.
Our Leadership conference is a one-day hybrid event in early December, with opportunities to engage with both in-person and online audiences.
Alongside our two annual hybrid conferences, the iHV offers half-day virtual In Focus Conferences which align to current health visiting practice and public health priorities. Previous conferences have focused on infant feeding, special educational needs and disabilities, and perinatal and infant mental health.
Our virtual conference offers unparalleled opportunities to connect with a UK-wide audience. By participating you can showcase your brand, products, and services to delegates from around the UK, regardless of geographical limitations. Join us in creating a dynamic, interactive experience that not only connects people but also elevates your brand’s presence in health visiting practice.
