Health Visitors

Our Teams work across the Gwent region of South Wales, and consist of Health Visitors, Specialist Health Visitors, Community Support Nurses (Registered Nurses), Assistant Practitioners (Nursery Nurses) and administrators. We also work with partner agencies to deliver an integrated early years’ service with a strong emphasis on family centred care.
As part of the Health Visiting team, you can expect to be supported through:
- A preceptorship model whilst settling into the team and developing into the role.
- A wholesome Health Board induction programme and warm, friendly, supportive colleagues.
- Regular clinical, managerial, and restorative supervision.
- Enhanced Wellbeing support including monthly designated Wellbeing time.
- Flexible working/agile working
- Career development opportunities.
