Health Visitors

Do you want to make a difference whilst contributing to the care of babies and children? Are you kind, empathetic and willing to go that extra mile to provide the best care whilst working with a supportive, caring team of colleagues?

If so, there are currently full and part time opportunities (as well as Bank hours) for Health Visitors to come and work with us at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (nhs.wales)

Our Teams work across the Gwent region of South Wales, and consist of Health Visitors, Specialist Health Visitors, Community Support Nurses (Registered Nurses), Assistant Practitioners (Nursery Nurses) and administrators. We also work with partner agencies to deliver an integrated early years’ service with a strong emphasis on family centred care.

As part of the Health Visiting team, you can expect to be supported through: 

  • A preceptorship model whilst settling into the team and developing into the role.
  • A wholesome Health Board induction programme and warm, friendly, supportive colleagues.
  • Regular clinical, managerial, and restorative supervision.
  • Enhanced Wellbeing support including monthly designated Wellbeing time.
  • Flexible working/agile working
  • Career development opportunities.
