Making a donation to the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) is a special way of remembering someone, and also helping health visitors to continue to play a vital role in ensuring that every child gets the best possible start in life.

This can be a very comforting way to celebrate someone’s life – perhaps that of a much loved colleague or family member who was a health visitor, or someone who was touched by health visiting.

We would love to discuss with you how your donation can have extra meaning for you, and your family, by directing it to a specific activity. Perhaps by providing it as a scholarship award to allow a health visitor to do research, to support development of a publication, or for a conference to provide new training for health visitors, not normally available in the NHS.

Whether you’re honouring a family’s request for donations instead of funeral flowers, or simply marking an anniversary or a special date of a loved one, there are many different ways for your gift to help every child to get the best possible start in life.

We’re happy to advise on the most appropriate way for this to happen and it can all be organised easily and sensitively. So please do let us know how we can help you.
