UNICEF Europe

We have provided consultancy to the UNICEF programme to introduce home visiting into the eastern European and Central Asian region.

Global Network of Public Health Nursing (GNPHN)

We are council members of the GNPHN and host its secretariat.

The Network is an international collaboration of public health nurses across the world.  For more details: http://www.gnphn.com/ .

Most of our activity with the Network to date has involved running regular conferences.  The 2019 conference is being hosted by our council member in Kenya, Teresa Obwaya and the University of Nairobi in Kenya.

Dr Cheryll Adams and Dr Karen Whittaker (iHV Trustee) were delighted to be invited to give keynote presentations to the Ounce Home Visiting Conference 2019 in Washington DC. http://www.homevisitingsummit.org/

International Marcé Society

As an active member, the Institute strives to contribute  to both the UK branch of the International Marcé Society (IMS), as well as the IMS meetings across the world.

The Marcé Society is dedicated to supporting research and assistance surrounding prenatal and postpartum mental health for mothers, fathers and their babies, and is globally at the cutting edge of improvements for perinatal mental health.

In 2018, the Institute won the International Marcé Society and White Swan global award for their PMH Champions training at the 2018 International Marce Society Conference in Bengulu, India.

Nursing Now

Nursing Now (launched on 27 February 2018) is a three-year global campaign run in collaboration with the International Council of Nurses and the World Health Organization to raise the status and profile of nursing. The campaign is a programme of the Burdett Trust for Nursing.

iHV liaises with and supports the leaders and mission of Nursing Now.
