The iHV marks International Nurses Day (12 May) with a new publication describing Florence Nightingale’s public health expertise, and how she was influential in the development of the health visiting profession.
‘Florence Nightingale: Public Health Nursing Pioneer’ was written by Professor Rosamund Bryar, one of the founders of the Institute of Health Visiting, and supported by the PhD research of Professor Sally Kendall, another of the four iHV founders.
