The iHV is delighted to help support the launch of Baby Buddy, the free mobile phone app for young parents and parents-to-be.
Officially launching on 19 November 2014, the app is friendly, engaging and packed with the most up-to-date information and has been tested by hundreds of different users including health visitors as well as young parents, midwives, paediatricians and doctors.
Developed by the charity Best Beginnings, the Baby Buddy app guides parents from conception through to the first six months of a baby’s life using a unique “buddy” avatar which parents create on their mobile phone.
The app’s content is endorsed by the Institute of Health Visiting as well as the Department of Health, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, the Royal College of Midwives, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Community of Practitioners and Health Visitors Association and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
