Passionate about the potential of improving babies, young children and their families’ outcomes through a strengthened health visiting service and greater emphasis on evidence driven prevention and early intervention? If yes, then come join us. This is an excellent opportunity to join the iHV as our Professional Services Lead to support the further scoping, development and delivery of high-quality resources, events and membership services through co-production with our valued members and the wider iHV team.

This is a senior position at the iHV and the successful applicant will have a track record of leadership experience in practice development, service improvement and building strong collaborations with stakeholders. As the Professional Services Lead, you will have a central role in scoping, developing and delivering the iHV membership services, including leading a continuous process of quality improvement to support the development of resources and services to support health visiting practice. You will have a lead role in the Professional Services team working across all the departments at the iHV, and with external stakeholders, supporting the Institute’s strategy and business plan for members and professional services.

Candidates must have at least a master’s degree in a relevant area. You will apply your expertise and knowledge of health visiting practice development and applying evidence-based practice to accelerate progress in the potential within health visiting. You will have significant personal drive and be able to demonstrate that you are passionate about improving the lives of children and families.

The post will suit candidates who are an experienced health visitor, practice development/educator and those who have a portfolio of additional skills including practice development and quality assurance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated passionate health visitor to join a unique and vibrant national charity and professional body where two days are never the same.

The post holder will be home-based working with regular travel and some overnight stays within the UK to support specific work including HEI and HV provider service visits, meetings, presentations and conferences as required.
