Melita Walker, Professional Development Officer and a Fellow of the Institute of Health Visiting, was recognised at the City Health Care Partnership (CIC) Celebrating Excellence Staff Awards held yesterday at the KC Stadium in Hull.
Sammie Daniels and Laura Watts from CHCP Psychological Wellbeing Services and Perinatal mental Health Champions and HVs with CHCP Melita Walker and Maggie Scargill were recognised for excellent partnership working in developing perinatal mental health services locally.
Melita Walker was also recognised for her learning achievement in becoming a Fellow of the iHV.
Melita said: “These awards are a fantastic way to celebrate so many excellent achievements and a great way for a company to recognise its staff. In celebrating good practice, a culture of innovation and positivity flourishes, staff feel valued. This leads to excellence in practice and ultimately improved health and wellbeing outcomes for our individuals, families and communities. Thank you CHCP Hull.”
The Celebrating Excellence Awards were awarded to staff who did an exceptional job in 2014.
