HEE has established a task and finish group to explore and enhance the quality and consistency of student health visitor practice learning and establish national standards to support effective learning. As part of this task we are undertaking a gap analysis via questionnaires to Practice Teachers, Mentors, Health Visiting Students and Clinical Leads / Service Managers for Health Visiting. This questionnaire should take no longer than 30 minutes and your input into this work would be much appreciated.
The survey results will be used to inform an HEE analysis of the current national understanding of health visiting practice education, including the educators’ roles, and feed into various developments that may be required to strengthen these.
The outcome of this work will be disseminated via a report distributed by HEE after April 2014 and possible publication in professional journals.
