The Maternal Mental Health Alliance of which the iHV is a member, has been awarded £250,000 by Comic Relief to strengthen public and professional knowledge and services for perinatal mental health. IHV Director Dr Cheryll Adams says ‘this is a great collaboration of organisations with an interest in boosting access to support for families where the mother or father may be suffering with perinatal mental illness. We expect that our new Perinatal Mental Health Champions will play an important part in supporting the campaign.
