What is a Fellow of the Institute of Health Visiting (FiHV)?
Fellows are health visitors with exceptional leadership qualities delivering excellence in practice. They are known as professionals who ‘push the boundaries’, have an entrepreneurial spirit and have made a real difference to the health outcomes of children, families and communities. Whilst many are from clinical practice, some also come from research and education.
Fellows networking opportunities
Fellows are encouraged to network with their fellow Fellows through our annual celebration events and the Fellows’ closed Facebook group.
Honorary Fellows
Honorary Fellowships of the Institute of Health Visiting are awarded at the iHV’s annual celebration event held December each year and are awarded in recognition of support to both the Institute and the health visiting profession. Honorary Fellowship is a mark of the high esteem in which those awarded it are held by the Institute’s board.
