I am Dr Michelle Moseley, the new iHV Director of Learning and Development and I have had a busy first three months in my new role. I am honoured to be working within the iHV and leading our Learning and Development agenda with our amazing team.
I want to update you on our Autumn training calendar as well as hearing from you regarding what you would like from us. Please scan the QR code at the end of our update to share your ideas with us. We have lots planned over the next year and we will update you going forward with a regular bulletin from January 2026.

This Mum Moves Ambassadors – Open Event (Virtual)
Date & time: THUR 18 SEPTEMBER 2025 (09.00-13.00)
Suitable for: Health and fitness professionals who work with and have regular contact with women during their childbearing years.
Cost: £180.00
Delivered in partnership with the Active Pregnancy Foundation, this half-day training event equips professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to discuss physical activity during pregnancy and after childbirth. Benefits include the opportunity to network, familiarise yourself with the latest evidence base, and post-training access to resources to support physical activity conversations and engagement.

iHV Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Champions Training (Virtual)
Date & time: TUE 30 SEPTEMBER and WED 1 OCTOBER 2025
Suitable for: Multi-agency audiences and individuals with a passion for perinatal and infant mental health and opportunities to share this onwards.
Cost: £500.00 (iHV Members) or £550.00 (Non-Members)
The aim of the programme is to prepare participants to undertake a Champion role in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health, equipping them with the resources, knowledge and confidence to build advocacy for and understanding of perinatal and infant mental health. It addresses the fundamental requirement for all those working with parents and families in the perinatal period to manage mild to moderate perinatal mental illness. Lived-experience speakers join the event to give an additional perspective. In addition, all PIMH participants have access to iHV PIMH Champions’ quarterly Forums and Bulletins to maintain their competence and confidence.

iHV Fathers and Perinatal Mental Health Champions Training (Virtual)
Date & time: TUE 14 OCTOBER 2025
Suitable for: Multi-agency audiences and individuals with a passion for paternal mental health and opportunities to share this onwards.
Cost: £275.00 (iHV Members) or £300.00 (Non-Members)
This training programme prepares participants to undertake a Champion role, equipping them with the resources to deliver a cascade of multi-agency awareness level training to their colleagues. All Champions will have access to our iHV Champions’ quarterly virtual Forums and Bulletins to maintain their confidence and competence.

iHV Neonatal Families Ambassadors (Virtual)
Date & time: WED 19 NOVEMBER 2025
Suitable for: Health visitors
Cost: £265.00 (iHV Members) or £290.00 (Non-Members)
The Neonatal Families Ambassador training programme has been developed with the support of the Tiny Lives Trust and equips health visitors to share their learning with their health visiting colleagues in their local area. The programme has been co-produced by parents with lived experience and professionals to support health visitors in their role with families.

iHV Emotional Wellbeing Visits Champions Training (Virtual)
Date & time: TUE 8 and WED 9 DECEMBER 2025
Suitable for: Health visitors and some additional professional groups (please enquire)
Cost: £500.00 (iHV Members) or £550.00 (Non-Members)
This programme has been designed to inform health visitors about the purpose, structure and content of the ‘Emotional Wellbeing Visits’ guide for practice, ensuring that health visitors are confident and competent in using an evidence-based integrated assessment and intervention framework to support families in the perinatal period. Champions are given access to materials to support their delivery of onward cascade training to colleagues.
