Baby Breathe – Funded by NIRH
A randomised-controlled trial of a complex intervention to prevent return to smoking post-partum.
This study aims to test a package of support, created by working with women, their partners and NHS staff, to help women who have stopped smoking just before or during pregnancy to stay smoke free following their baby’s birth. The package is called ‘BabyBreathe’.
We plan to raise awareness of our findings with parents and health care staff by working with Action on Smoking and Health (ASH).
