At the Institute we are asked to contribute to health and social care policies that have the potential to impact on public health and health visiting.
We see this as a very important part of our work as it allows the Institute to provide a voice for health visiting and keep the work health visitors undertake, and the contribution they make to children, families and communities, high on the policy agenda.
We utilise the resources we have at the Institute to undertake discussion papers and surveys to allow the membership of the Institute to contribute to consultations and requests for written evidence as much as possible.
