An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the iHV Professional Team.  If you are an ambitious health visitor who has experience of successfully delivering practice projects, then this may be the post for you.

You will be educated to master’s degree level or equivalent experience, and will be able to work 3 days a week flexibly as project coordinator. You will be home based, and within easy reach of the iHV admin office (Emsworth) (1 day). You must be able to travel across the UK to meet the needs of the post.

You will be dynamic, proactive, flexible and have the ability to work independently. You will provide day to day project coordination of Institute funded projects.  Reporting to the iHV Projects and Evaluation Lead, the post holder will work closely with the iHV Training Programme Manager, Projects Administrator and Administrative Team, iHV Communications Lead and iHV Professional Team.

The post will suit candidates who want to experience working nationally with the Institute and will provide excellent experience for a growing CV.

Project Coordinator: 12-month fixed term contract, 0.6 (3 days a week) in the first instance: January 2019-December 2019.

Public Health England is seeking to appoint a number of professional technical advisors – these are nurses and midwives with expertise in public health including those with a background in midwifery, health visiting, school nursing, community nursing, health protection, health promotion or nurses with an interest and background in public health, for example from the learning disabilities or mental health fields of practice.

An exciting and unique development opportunity has arisen with the Institute – Research Associate.

The iHV is seeking to appoint a part-time Research Associate, 3-days per week for 6 months initially.

The post holder, who will have a masters degree relevant to requirements of the post, will be based in the South or East of England and will be prepared to travel within their post.

The individual will need to be dynamic, proactive, flexible and have the ability to work independently. They will both carry out a range of work, including literature reviews, qualitative data collection and analysis, quantitative data analysis and report writing, and will project manage the data collection and reporting for a project looking at breaking different news.  The post holder will work closely with community members, families, health professionals and other members of the research team.
