9th March 2018
The Global Alliance for Maternal Mental Health (GAMMH), a coalition of international organisations committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of women and their children in pregnancy and the first postnatal year (the ‘perinatal period’), launched its website on 8 March, International Women’s Day:
Shining a spotlight on the scale and effects of maternal mental health problems worldwide – and how maternal mental health must be prioritised if the United Nations Development Goals are to be realised by 2030 – the new GAMMH website showcases key policy papers, resources and personal testimonies from women and families around the world.
The website is designed to be of interest to maternal mental health campaigners and policy makers alike, with growing resources and personal testimonies over the coming months.
