The Institute of Health Visiting has been a Council member of the Global Network of Public Health Nurses (GNPHN) since its foundation.
The Network brings together public health nurses from around the world to share research and their models of practice, and to learn from one another.
After a conference in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2019, the next conference is being organised by the Japan Academy of Public Health Nurses and will take place online in January 2022.
This is a brilliant opportunity for health visitors to share their innovative projects, or research, with other public health nurses from around the world.
Whilst it is disappointing that the conference has to be remote for international delegates, the iHV hopes that this will open it up to many more abstracts being submitted from across the UK.
Abstracts can be received until 23 August 2021.
