Finding trusted advice online can be a challenge for new parents and families of young children. The Health for Under 5s website is designed to support families and carers through the early years, from pregnancy through to pre-school.

Health for Under 5s is part of our family of public health information websites, which also includes Health for Teens and Health for Kids. All 3 websites feature engaging and interactive age-appropriate content on a range of physical and emotional health topics.

Visitors to the Health for Under 5s website can find local advice and information and find out about upcoming events in the area they live in. They can seek the right help and support from local support services and see what’s offered by their local health visiting team. Local area information is managed by local NHS teams and the national content is managed by a central digital team, all operate under NHS safety and governance processes.

One NHS provider has produced this Health for Under 5s promotional video to show how the website helps families with babies and young children to find health information and local support services.
