Specialist Health Visitor for Domestic Abuse

I qualified as a Health Visitor in 2013 and I have worked in Lewisham since my qualification. I have been a Domestic Abuse Specialist Health Visitor for the past 2 years and this role has given me the opportunity to raise awareness of the role of Health Visitors working in the context of domestic abuse.
I am also in the final term of my MA in Understanding Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse at Goldsmiths University. Teaching is a big part of my role and I teach colleagues and SCPHN students about how to respond to domestic abuse.
