Welcome to the iHV Projects and Evaluation page,

At the iHV, we are involved in a number of projects which aim to improve the scope of resources which are created specifically for health visitors, and to gain a better understanding of the current needs and views of health visitors and families across the UK.

Please explore this page to find out more about the iHV Projects and Evaluation Team and the projects we are working on, as well as those we have completed.  If you would like more information on any project, have ideas for new projects or have any questions please contact the iHV Projects and Evaluation Team at [email protected].

As a charity, we do not have internal funds to support our project work and therefore funding is applied for through bids, external grants and partnerships. Over the years we have received funding from many organisations including OHID (formerly PHE), Burdett Trust for Nursing and the AIMS Health Foundation, click here to see our full list of partners and funders.

All projects follow the PRINCE2 Project Management Principles. Co-production is at the heart of our work as we aim to work in partnership with health visitors and families to shape the projects. This can include the development of surveys on specific topics, alongside focus and insight groups with health visitors and families.  We also have steering groups for each project which are made up of experts in the field, health visitors, parents/carers and Early Years workers, this allows for all resources to be quality-assured, and peer-reviewed ensuring they meet the need of the intended audience.
