Head of Children’s Public Health Nursing Services

North East Lincolnshire Council

As a highly motivated and committed clinical leader you will further develop and transform our health visiting and school nursing services. You will manage the delivery of safe, quality, person-centred care.

This exciting post gives you the opportunity to lead a service culture where quality improvement, transformation, service development and learning are driven by service user and staff voice, intelligence and evidence. You will be responsible for motivating and growing the workforce, with appropriate skill mix, and be highly committed to professional development. You will need to ensure close working with colleagues in health, social care and education and, as a senior public health nurse, offer professional specialist advice as appropriate to colleagues and relevant forums.

Strategically, you will work collaboratively at regional and local levels to improve outcomes for children, young people and families and tackle health inequalities.

The post holder will provide skilled clinical leadership for the delivery of a high quality children’s public health services, in order to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities for children, young people and families in North East Lincolnshire.

This will be achieved through the effective strategic leadership, planning and management of a range of diverse functions, working collaboratively with partners both regionally and locally to drive forward national strategies and policy to improving health outcomes.
