At East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT), we provide safe, compassionate and high-quality hospital and community care to the half a million people living in East Sussex or visiting our local area. We are one of the largest organisations in East Sussex with an annual income of £476 million and we are the only integrated provider of acute and community care in Sussex.
Our extensive health services are provided by over 7,000 dedicated members of staff working from two acute hospitals in Hastings and Eastbourne, three community hospitals in Bexhill, Rye and Uckfield, over 100 community sites across East Sussex and in people’s own homes.
We’re looking for qualified Health Visitors to be part a dynamic, committed and integrated team of highly trained, early help professionals. As a Health Visitor in East Sussex, you’ll be working in the 0–19 integrated Early Help Service which puts health visiting at the very heart of support for families with children from conception to 5 years.
ESHT believes the best way to support children and families is via an integrated approach; therefore, you’ll be working alongside a range of staff, including Community Nursery Nurses, Staff Nurses, Early Communication Support Workers, Early Years Practitioners, Volunteer Coordinators, Keyworkers and Youth Workers.
We recognise that each family is unique and the service we deliver must accommodate families’ changing needs. Believing our workforce to be our greatest asset, we provide unparalleled levels of supervision and staff support.
We can offer you a Golden Hello of £2000 – £1000 on joining the Trust, a further £500 after six months in post and a final £500 after 12 months.
